Our returns policy is valid for 30 days and is an in-store or website credit. If 30 days have passed since your purchase, we can’t offer you a full exchange.

To be eligible for an exchange, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.

Several types of our goods are exempt from being returned: tea, herbs, oils or sprays.

Additional non-returnable items:

  • Gift cards
  • Downloadable products
  • Classes
  • One of a kind Crystal/Mineral Specimens

To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.

There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted:

  • Book with obvious signs of use
  • CD, DVD, VHS tape, software, video game, cassette tape, or vinyl record that has been opened.
  • Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error.
  • Any item that is returned more than 30 days after delivery

Store Credit

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your store or website credit.

If you are approved, then your return will be processed, and you will receive a store or web credit depending on where you made your purchase.

Sale items

Only regular priced items can be exchanged. Sale items cannot be exchanged.


We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us a photo of packaging/damage via email to orders@howlatm.com and send your item to: Howl at the Moon Gems, 14 E Walworth St, Elkhorn, WI 53121 USA.

Gift Cards

Gift cards can be used in-store. To use on website, create a wish list and send email to orders@howlatm.com. We will create an invoice which allows you to use the gift card as payment. There is NO CASH BACK on unused portions of gift cards, they are for purchases only.

Shipping returns

To return your product, you should mail your product to: {Howl at the Moon Gems, 14 E Walworth St, Elkhorn, WI 53121 USA}.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. The cost of return shipping may be deducted from your exchange.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you may vary.

If you are returning more expensive items, you may consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
