All Agates are a fine-grained variegated chalcedony where colors are generally arranged in striped patterns, blended in clouds, or showing mosslike forms. All are wonderful to use and have a soft, comforting energy.

Calcite has a trigonal crystal system and is in the mineral class of carbonate. It is formed from solutions containing calcium through sedimentation. Its range of colors comes from minute amounts of assorted minerals that seeped into their mix.
